DataHive is taking the first steps forward in seeding an association, The Hive, with the goal of giving consumers an equal voice with companies to develop global personal information standards. Consumers and companies will have the opportunity to bring forward proposals which the community will review, voice, and implement.
DataHive will seed the association until 100 partners have joined, after which, The Hive will be spun out and operate as an independent association. The details of this process will be agreed upon with the DataHive community.
